Virus = Bacteria…..ummm, HUH?
So, as you get to know me, you will come to find out how much I abhor stupidity….especially when it can affect YOU! There is a whole lot of stuff out there that is pure BS, but looks “pretty” because it is dressed up with great medicalese and promises “cures” for all sorts of stuff. That’s good, I’m all for cures….but…..
Let’s explore this a bit. If there is a chance for a “cure” for something, then there must be some pretty good evidence for it right? OK, how about just some good science? OK, if not that, how about just some common sense you can find in Webster’s dictionary? Case in point, read the quote below.. It’s all about how their phenomenal product cures HPV or human papilloma virus, which is a cause for some cancers (e.g. cervical cancer) and warts.
“HPV Viruses are anaerobic bacteria and carry a positive charge which makes them especially susceptible to oxygenated treatment. Oxygen molecules have an electron missing from their outer orbit, and have a negative charge. They are continually seeking to replace this missing electron and hunt out positively charged electrons. Thus, when an oxygen molecule finds a positively charged anaerobic organism it will remove an electron from its orbit thereby killing it instantly. In short, anaerobic microorganisms cannot exist in the presence of increased oxygenation.”
Pretty cool yeah? Should go out and buy it. Oh, but wait a minute…..umm, got a little glazed over reading all that cool science. Did I see them say “HPV viruses are anaerobic bacteria”? Wow, I didn’t know viruses are bacteria. I kind of thought they were two different things. Wait a sec…..let me look that up…..
Hmmm, my kid’s kindergarten science book says that viruses are totally different from bacteria. Could that be true? But this scientific looking website is telling me that if I buy their product, I can cure the HPV bacteria….huh?
Well, I won’t embarrass the site owner, but this qualifies for the Darwin Awards (for extraordinary stupidity)…..and, it could cause you harm. That my dear visitor, I won’t allow.
When reading “stuff” on the internet, keep that inner voice alive…..the one that tells you….”umm, is this bullshit?” Stay alert! You’ll be glad you did.
