This tool is just a part of what we use to figure out what works and what does NOT.  You can use it too to at least get a general idea of our investigative research process. This isn’t ALL that we do.  There is a LOT more to finding out what treatments and cures work.  This is the first step, and gives you an idea of what has been published and archived in the National Library of Medicine, which catalogs information from mainstream and alternative journals. No, not everything is in the catalog. It’s only a start, but there ARE over 13,000 journals in there.  So, it’s a very good start!

The best way to use this tool is just to put your main keywords in there.  For example if you want to know “does Acai berry prevent or treat ovarian cancer”, you would just put in “ovarian cancer acai treatment prevention”.  In others, keep is simple! Leave out all the ands, ors and buts for the first run….. If needed add AND, OR, BUT in caps as part of a “Boolean Search”…..see, it gets more complicated but you wanted to know how we do it!  It’s intense and LOT of work!
